You Lord are above all things: my problems, my pain, and confusing events in this ever-changing world. I have to tell myself to clam down, to behold Your Face, that is when I rise above my circumstances and rest with You in heavenly realms.
This is the way to peace, living in the light of Your Presence. I know You do not guarantee that life with be without trouble, but I am trying my best to keep my focus off these things, and on You. When I feel myself sinking in the sea of circumstances, I now say, "Help me, Jesus!" and I know that my heart and mind will be drawn back to You.
I sometimes find that I need to say those words many times throughout the day, but I am feeling less discouraged because I know that in my weakness, that You will meet me in that very place. I now recognize that it is in my weakness that You are seen and heard most clearly.
