You are calling me to a life of constant communion with You. I am learning to live above my circumstances, even while interacting on that cluttered plane of life.

This is a time in my life when I must learn to let go of my loved ones, of possessions, of control. I am learning that for me to let go of those things that are precious to me, I need to rest often in Your Presence, where I am complete in You alone.

You Lord are above all things: my problems, my pain, and confusing events in this ever-changing world. I have to tell myself to clam down, to behold Your Face, that is when I rise above my circumstances and rest with You in heavenly realms.

Everyday as I seek Your Face I am finding not only Your Presence but also Your Peace. I find that I receive Your Peace when I give up how I tend to want to grasp, and try to control my circumstances, to one of relaxing, openness and trust in You.

I am just beginning to learn that when I come to You in my weakness, I receive Your Peace. I am also learning to accept myself and my circumstances just as they are. You are opening my eyes to how I am wearing myself out by all my analyzing and planning. Instead I will try to let gratefulness and trust be my guides throughout this day; they will help me keep close to You.

You are always with me and for me. I know I face nothing alone - nothing! Whenever I feel anxious, I can be sure, and aware, that I am focusing and placing my attention on the visible world and leaving You out of my picture.
